and I do say so myself. The photography does not do it justice. No, I didn't follow the pattern or I'd have carried that design down to the toe. But don't like lumps in my shoes. Also don't like short row heels. So I did the usual. It fits darn good. I'm wearing it as I cast on Sock 2 before SSS hits.

Pretty sock! That's a nice lace pattern. I'm not fond of short row heels either. They never seem to fit me right.
Oh yes, this is really a very fine sock indeed! I love your modification of not carrying the lace-pattern down to the toe, it looks way more elegant and more comfy this way! Fantastic work!
