Victorian Lace Shawl

This looks beautiful already! But do I have ADD or what? Why isn't Denim finished? The body's done, sewn at shoulders with the collar finished. The sleeves are half done. And yet it waits there while I play with the VLS.

One thing I've learned on this shawl - I prefer patterns that are symmetrical. These lace patterns are beautiful but I want them to be exact on each side of the center. (I love it anyway tho) And though I'm not a shawly person or a lacey person, I'm hooked. So far have only yanked the needle out of these hundreds of stitches one time!

You are becoming a certified shawl-oholic! Of course, the fact that they are so beautiful might have something to do with it. Just lovely!

I think cause it's just fun to see it evolve! I jumped into that third pattern and just messed it up so...then I read how someone else had and were saying it was the pattern. Eventually, of course, I realized it was ME reading the pattern WRONG! But I found another vine pattern that I'm doing there. This will be a HUGE shawl. Can't wait to see it blocked.
